Argildéco is a natural coating made up of clay and silica extracted from French quarries and ground on site to guarantee grading consistency. The clay acts as a natural bond and can be applied to many materials. Because Argildéco is a natural clay its use adds comfort properties to any room by absorbing excess humidity to keep coolness in summer and warmth in winter.

Product and Application Details:
- We offer 18 authentic color variations (see the chart below) using natural pigments such as Sienna, Puisaye Ochre and Iron Oxides.
- Argildéco is remarkably easy to use and can be applied to most standard untreated surfaces of mortar, cement and plaster.
- Argildéco is for indoor use only (it would wash off in the rain).
- Preparation is as easy as adding water, stirring well and letting stand for 30 minutes before application with a stainless trowel or putty knife (use stainless steel tools).
- There is a long, open working time, making it great for DIY projects. Should you make a mistake, just moisten Argildéco to start over again.
- Coating thickness can vary from 1 mm up to 15mm.
- Unused Argildéco should be fully dried, and broken up, before sealing the container. When you want to use it again, you can add the water to recover the required consistency.
- Give a personal touch to your walls: you can give them texture with straw, flax, hemp, seashells, mother-of-pearl or mica inlays, and the surface can have a raw, steel, scraped or sponged finish.
- One 25kg (55lb) bucket can cover approximately 150 square feet in thin layers, making the cost about $0.80 per square foot.
